“Explore the mountains in a snowkite
If you’re an off-piste skier, have your safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe) and freeride skis adapted to the snow conditions at the time, we’ll guide you to the various accessible areas around the Col du Lautaret.
By vehicle, we’ll reach the legendary snowkiting spots, and together we’ll discover the wilderness (no ski lifts or access roads).
You must be equipped with ski touring equipment (skis, poles, skins). Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any information about hire or equipment.
This option allows us to take you to discover wilder areas, untouched by tracks, so you can enjoy a long moment of discovery and gliding.
The day will start with some ski touring to reach the snowkite spot. The valley reached will depend on the prevailing wind that day.
The final destination will depend entirely on the weather and snow conditions and the level of the group.
Groups of 2-4 people
Price: €180/person (excluding equipment hire).
You must take out FFVL insurance before any snowkiting session or course.
You can :
- take out insurance for one day directly with Kite Légende
- come directly with your licence/insurance previously taken out with the FFVL (indicating the school number 01966), which saves everyone time!
