Cross at Col du Lautaret
“Discovering the different spots on Col du Lautaret”
If you are an off-piste skier, independent in your snowkiting and have already practised on different spots, with two or three different wing sizes, the instructor will help you discover the different practice areas and will join you to the different spots on the Col du Lautaret, accessible depending on the wind direction during the session.
(Safety equipment – avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe – may be necessary or even compulsory depending on the weather and snow conditions).
Objective:
- To cover all the areas that can be used depending on the direction and strength of the wind and the snow conditions.
- Departing from the Col du Lautaret, we’ll take in the many areas that make up our favourite playground: The Pyramide spot, the Ruine, La Cuvette, the paravalanche zone, etc.
- There will be a maximum of 3 people to ensure maximum cohesion. If only one person is registered, the lesson will last 2 hours instead of 3.
Advanced level required, with a minimum of 2 sessions (SnowPass’Kite confirmed level 4)

Price: 3 hours – €150/person
You must take out FFVL insurance before any snowkiting session or course.
You can :
- take out insurance for one day directly with Kite Légende
- come directly with your licence/insurance previously taken out with the FFVL (indicating the school number 01966), which saves everyone time!
