Kite Légende, our summer spot!
Our spot is accessible from the main road between Savines le lac and Gap (if you’re coming from Savines, make a U-turn at the “Le Nautique” campsite; if you’re coming from Gap, turn right before the automatic radar).
There is a dedicated car park at the bottom of the dirt track.
The FOIL
Learning to wingfoil on Lac de Serre-Ponçon is made easier by the exceptional weather conditions. The combination of the fresh water of the mountain lake, the sunny climate of the Hautes-Alpes and the exceptional panorama of the surrounding mountains.
The lake offers a calm stretch of water that will make it easier for you to get started by avoiding losing your balance on the waves that can be found in a maritime environment.
Wingfoil offers new sensations and great freedom. It’s a mix of water and air gliding.
It can be practised by everyone. Our team of qualified instructors will help you progress in complete safety.
You’ll be able to make the most of the thermal wind that blows from late morning until evening.
Our school is equipped with the latest equipment suitable for beginners.

2- administrative management/registration/insurance
3- Theory phase on the ground with the instructor, adapted to the level of the participants.
4- Equipment
5- Practical phase: boarding the boats for the open water course.
6- End of session with debriefing.

KITESURFING
Kitesurfing on Lake Serre-Ponçon is an accessible sport. It offers new sensations and a great sense of freedom.
It’s a combination of water and air. It can be practised by everyone. Men, women and children.
Some people have even made it their main leisure activity. All you need is to be in good physical shape, motivated and to progress gradually according to your abilities.
We strongly recommend that you go to a certified kitesurfing school to get started in complete safety.

1st session: Piloting / Triggering safety devices / Tow swim.
2nd session: Board management/Waterstart (start on the water with board at foot).
3rd session: Learning to move on the water / The different paces.
4th and 5th session: Application and confirmation of the first 3 sessions / Going upwind / Jumps

TRACTED FOIL
Towed foiling is an increasingly popular activity that involves gliding across the water while being towed by a boat. It may seem difficult for beginners, but with the expert advice of your instructor, you’ll soon be able to experience the surprisingly pleasant sensation of gliding and flying over the water.
Initially used for kite foil or wingfoil training, kiteboarding has now become a discipline in its own right.
